Thanks Robin for this quick response. Yes, I want the users to download the Prerequisites from the same location as the application, because somer users don't have Internet connections. I thought I had the Windows SDK installed... so I tried to reinstall
it, just in case. But the installation failed ! (A problem occurred while installing selected Windows SDK components. Setup could not find the file WinSDKSamples\WinSDKSamples_x86.msi at any of the specified source locations http://download.microsoft.com/download/A/6/A/A6AC035D-DA3F-4F0C-ADA4-37C8E5D34E3D/setup).
Back to my original problem ! I thought the "Bootstrapper\Packages" directories were looking fine. I see there are 17 directories, among which I see "DotNetFX40" and "DotNetFX40Client". In the "DotNetFX40" directory, I see 14 directories for various languages,
and the "DotNetFX40_Full_x86_x64.exe" file and its "Product.xml". So I thought it should be OK. But when I Publish my application, I get the error message (title of this post). Notice the error message mentions a different file name : "DotNetFX40LP_Full_x86_x64fr.exe".
(What does "LP" mean ?). So I added this file "DotNetFX40LP_Full_x86_x64fr.exe" in the same directory. But it didn't eliminate the error message.
